• There will be three exams throughout the semester, in addition to the final exam.

• The exam is open book.

• The design of an algorithm should not be phrased in programming language. Before you start typing, come up with a plan to solve the problem algorithmically.

You can use your notes and the textbook during an exam. You can use your notes electronically during the exam.

Exam one, two, and three are all during the quiz section.
